The Chick Residence
Our friends, the Chicks, were interested in transforming their home into a warm and rustic retreat where they could entertain a large group of friends and family, all the while keeping the space feeling cozy and appropriate for a couple who was near retirement. HartmanBaldwin’s design strategy was to open up the living, dining rooms and kitchen to serve as a hub around which the energy of the home could revolve. They were so happy with their first project they’ve come back remodeled the rest of their bedrooms, baths and are in the middle of an addition of a 280 sq ft art studio.
